Posters are a valuable communication form at a conference! Visible to the participants any time, they provide the chance to present complex data which could hardly be explained in the limited time of an oral presentation. The sum of 3000 €, sponsored equally by Burgdorf GmbH & Co. KG and Fluxtrol Inc., will be given for the best posters at the IFHTSE World Congress, Heat Treatment Congress, ECHT and Steel Innovation. The sum will be divided among the awardees.
Students and trainees are free of charge for the whole event! This will be an excellent opportunity for young scientists, who don’t want to present their project as an oral presentation.
A special poster show will take place at Wednesday, 14 October, 12.00 - 13.00, at the poster area in the exhibition hall. Please bring your poster and hang it yourself in the designated area for the poster show. The poster display stands will be provided and prepared. Poster format 84,1 width × 118,9 cm high (DIN-A-0). Product presentations and any kind of advertisement won't be accepted.
Please, submit your announcement and a draft to info@awt-online.org. Deadline for the announcement of posters is August, 15, 2026. Please note, that for participants of poster competition a personal presence at the conference is mandatory. We offer all poster presenters the reduced conference fee for speakers. The winners of the poster award will be announcsed at Wednesday evening at the conference gala.
